Первые на Луне
First on the Moon (2005) |
Spring 1938. A UFO crashes in the
North of Chile. An inquiry reveals that the object
was actually a Soviet rocket and evidence of a top-secret
space program of the 1930’s unfolds. Digging through
the National Film archives, the film team uncovers
fragmented details of a mission to the moon. But by
all accounts, the attempt failed miserably and all
evidence, human included, was ordered to be destroyed.
Remnants from the past however still exist - archive
footage and contemporary interviews reveals a forgotten
chapter in history that turns the world on its head.
First on the Moon is an excellent mockumentary that
treads a fine line between reality and farce. The
movie emphatically takes one on a journey with fabulous
footage and the end result is convincing enough to
fool any historian.
