Yuri Gordeev (Bondarchuk) had it all; he was an aircraft designer, a ladies man and one step away from personal triumph. On the eve of launching his break-through aircraft, Yuri is killed in a road accident and remains on earth as a ghost. Year 7 student Vania Kuznetsov has always been “a waste of space”. A victim of his mother’s overprotectiveness and a target of schoolyard bullies, Vania feels unfulfilled. Yuri’s wish to fly his plane and Vania’s desire to make something of himself leads to them forming of an unexpected team. Ghost extends the Hollywood formula of the odd couple to deliver a fast paced comedy with memorable moments.
