Inspired by a true story, Heritage of Love is set against the backdrop of the Russian Revolution, the subsequent onset of civil war, as well as in contemporary Paris. Vera and Alexander fall in love during the last few days of the Tsar’s rule. After a short courtship, the two lovers are engulfed by the war, which separates them seemingly forever. A century later, in a parallel universe, the star-crossed lovers meet again. Love is timeless in uniting multiple generations. Heritage of Love was the number one film at the Russian box office during its release earlier this year.
