Sasha was born with a congenital physical disability. However, his tough father decides that the only way to raise his son is to treat him like a healthy person claiming that , "he is not a patient - he just has temporary difficulties." Sasha is forced to fend for himself without assistance. He does household chores and is subjected to merciless bullying from his schoolmates.  Sasha develops a resentment of his father and the tough love approach leading him to cut off all communication with his father upon graduating. Sasha goes on to become a radical, yet highly successful business coach.
