This film is a classical interpretation of the traditional fairytale during the Soviet era. It was restored and colorized by Mosfilm in 1967. Hard-working Cinderella is forced to labour all day by her cruel Stepmother and Stepsisters, she is granted her wish to go to the ball by her Fairy Godmother and falls in love with the Prince, however by the stroke of midnight she is forced to flee, leaving only her slipper. Seeking to match the slipper the Prince searches the entire kingdom in order to find his true love. This story is sure to enchant children and parents with one of the most favourite children’s fairytales.
